it depends on how far they do with the relationship, if they keep it innocent and sweet I don't have a problem with it, and in a fanfic it's really up to the reader if they want to read it or not... so, yeah... people have a right to their opinion, and if someone thinks they 2 guys make a cute couple, who cares? i read an interview about the creator of YYH and he said he never meant the characters to be yaoi but they seemed to work better that way. i read some of the fanfics, and as long as they don't go TOO far like rape or something it's alright. and chill it's just a fanfic. not real. there are yaoi fanfics to almost every anime.!! ^_^

I dont mean to be rude or strange but I like Hiei x Kurama fanfics. I think they go good together. And...again I dont mean to be offensive (even though I probably am already) but if you dont accept the fact that there are homosexuals out there and that you dont treat them equally proves that you are shallow and close minded people. I'll have to agree with demiangel_16. They DO make a cute couple. Just as long as they don't go TOO far, I'm cool with it. I'm ok with readin' just regular 'yaoi' fanfics, but nothin' with 'lemon', 'citrus', 'lime', or 'rape'. Those four thin's just creep me out. *shivers* I don't think Y.Kurama is really the 'gay' type. He reminds me A LOT of Sesshoumaru (I don't like his nickname-- 'Fluffy'--very much...sorry to all those who do! ^-^) and he's one of my many favorite anime characters. I agree with a lot of the people above. If you don't like yaoi thats perfectly fine but don't go dissing people if they do (like me). It's their own opinion..and you are entitled to your own too. Do state reasons why you dont like it though..besides 'i hate yaoi because its gross' is so...uninformative. I think Kurama and Hiei make a perfect couple as long as none of them are bastards to each other. They do balance out each other like someone previously said. Okay, I personally think that Kurama is gay. He's my favorite character, but I don't really care. Hiei is most likely straight so the pairing would probably never happen in the TV show. But that doesn't mean that I don't enjoy reading Yaoi. It's one of my favorite types of fanfiction. There is no proof either way so their sexual preferences so this is all in the minds of the fan. As for the ones who says that cool people can't be gay, what shoebox did you grow up in? Alexander the Great of Greece, was not homosexual, but bisexual, leaning gay. Julius Casear had his share of male romances. Both of them kicked ass and kicked ass well.

I am a bisexual woman. I am not a girl who likes boys but not girls, nor a girl who likes girls but not boys. I am more of a girls who like pretty and/or good personality, but not silly immature bigots wasting air which could have been put to better use.

This response is offensive, and I will not feel an ounce of bad'bout it. Cause guess what, the original "question" and some of the responses are even more offensive, with no shame at their intolerance at all. I'll understand that yaoi might piss people off, if yaoi couple have zero chemistry on the show, and already have a perfertly interesting relationship with not annoying female characters. How ever, this is anime after, and it rarely happens, hence yaoi exist.

There are animes out there though, with good female characters and interesting characters. I suggest Inuyasha, where Miroku and Sango makes what is one of my favourite couples. There is also Inuyasha and Kikyo, although theirs is not a fluffy couple, think angst.

Now Inuyasha/Miroku or Miroku/Inuyasha I find it harder to swallow. I mean the chemistry just isn't there, not for romance anyways, they are friends, and best friends in that both had no other male friends as close as each other. But nope. Besides, why slash Inuyasha/Miroku or Miroku/Inuyasha, when you have the practically cannon sworn couple Bankotsu/Jakotsu? In the manga, when Jakotsu was yapping off about Inuyasha, Bankotsu was acting all jealous. Bankotsu remarked that it must be unrequited love while crashing the vial containing Kagome's shards.
