To my dear friend Brother Bill Dickens...I would like to tell you that you are appreciated and respected by Parson Ray. It is a blessing to know that someone is praying for you and your family while you are experience the grief which comes from the death of a loved one. You bring wisdom and unexpected joy to others by acknowledging their views and opinions. Brother Bill, hang in there and I can not wait to read more of your observations. If you wish to know from where Bill is coming, just turn to the right...way to the right...out in right field...and you will find his views! He's right out there!!! Seriously, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Let's take this moment to cheer the Professor Bill(QED)Dickens..."The Shaft of Tallahassee!

Parson Ray -A brief history/etymology about the word "right" :-) We strive to be 'right' not wrong in our daily decision making activities. The Holy Writ speaks with affirmation about the the saving power of God's Righteousness, not lefteousness. Joshua was Moses' 'right-hand' man. It is customary to bestow the title of 'Right' Reverend to high- ranking ecclesiastical officials. 'Right' angles, not left angles form the foundation of analytic geometry. Traffic rules permit automobile owners to make a 'right' turn on red. 'Rightin' is one of the basic 3 Rs. Thanks for the note but I must insist to all that our Milwaukee pastor is an unpaid member of the Shaft Fan Club. Or as Issac Hayes would say, 'Right' On, Brother! QED
