One of the blessings of being the editor/publisher of the A.M.E. Herald is discovering the incredible amount of great work that is being done in the community through the A.M.E. Church. Many of our churches are taking our mission atatement seriously, by going to the poor, hungry, sick etc. They are doing what the gospel message tells us to do for one another. I am so proud to be a part of a denomination that is doing so many incredible things. A.M.E. churches get grants for use in the community.

I would love to hear what community outreach program your church has or share with us projects you have heard that other A.M.E. churches are doing. i.e. after school programs etc. Thanks everyone I am excited to hear what are churches are doing.
