Just make sure that you dont keep any *bad files* on your drive that you dont want to get caught with. You dont want to be a leech and stop uploads on kazaa and all, but take precautions; people can easily view all of your files if they are downloading from you.

stay away from downloading movies and musics, and you will be fine. i dont think they will catch you for downloading animes related stuff. I read some article in bbc, it says that the music industries paid alot for the RIAA to catch those copyright infringement. well, compared to the music industries and hollywood movies, the anime is still in infant stages. i do not think they will spend big bucks just to get you.and chris, i think both the downloader and the uploader will be sued, if RIAA catch em. this is the site to your question : http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/3022170.stm
