kenshin had the manga and the ova's, so there was no need to really add it on to the series.

also, how are u supposed to end a series which is successful cos of their exciting/action packed/whatever storylines - u cant end it well cos any ending wiill suck cos the series is ending.

Okay fine.... I'll tell you da ending... SPOILER: Yu Yu Hakusho: Yusuke come back from the second dark tournament and Keiko is reliefed then they lived happily ever after.....(OMG!! CHEESY!!! SO STUPID!) Inu Yasha:Well, Imma not realli sure how it ended but, a friend told me they all die in the third movie....(?????) Rurouni Kenshin: NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!KENSHIN DIES AT THE END!!!! umm..dude...Inuyasha hasn't ended yet :) but were it to end...NARAKU would DIE...Kagome would get the shikon back...and it would become one with her body...thus she'd still be able to go back and forth between worlds...and the series would continue...never actually ending.

Kenshin's ending...the last OVA....it was absolutely MASTERFUL. i cried and cried and cried.

Think about it if they didn't end like that you'd be satisfied. "Always leave them wantingf more" besides as long as it's this you don't get tired of it, because you want and expect (subcounciously) to be satisfied.

Kenshin dies?? NOOO!!!! I hate those kind of endings! not meaning to be "mushy" but I like the endings where my fav. guy character ends up with my fav. girl character... but I hate the "walking off into the sunset".. there should always be another couple eps. to show what happens after they do... then again good series like Yu Yu Hakusho and Rurouni Kenshin and Inuyasha should NEVER end.. once they run out of ideas hire new people to think up new ideas! ^_^'

LOL have you guys ever seen the last episode of Berserk (I went insane that anime was awsome and it just ended like that :() was very depresed for a couple of days :P

i'm not much of a RK fan but i have seen some of the Samauri X episodes and they were excellent........i think it is necessary that Kenshin dies, sad as it is.......almost all heroes do at some point or the other.....this is the way legends are created and this way he is remembered with an even greater degree of compassion.......

I tend to watch these animes quite a bit and now I'm stunned to hear this. Kenshin and Inuyasha are killed? Thats pretty harsh. Anyone know who and how that happens? I'd like to know...sorta. I've heard Yu Yu Hakusho had a pretty lame movie but I'm still glued watching the first Dark Tournament on Toonami.

Uh, people Inu Yasha has not ended yet, well not here anyways, so unless you go get all the Japanise copys you wont know... unless they put it back on toonomie (of how ever it is spelled), lucky me my brother is obsessed with Inu Yasha and has all the translated copys on DVD, anyway it is true... about poor Kenshin dose die, and in the girls lap as said in someone eles's response... but we can still have hopes for Inu Yasha (but you know haw Japainse people are cant make a killer anime without having the most suckes endings possible)

yup, inuyasha hasn't ended yet, not even the manga, although it is pretty close to ending. and about them all dying in the third inuyasha movie, that movie is coming out in japan this coming december, so i doubt much would be known about it. rurouni kenshin had a sad ending in the second ova, but it was beautifully done, having the two die together like that. it was either end it like that and have closure, or have them fight neverendingly. yu yu hakusho had a weird ending, it leaves you with too much hanging up in the air. but that's only what i feel personally. see, i like shows of all types, and the ending of the series itself has a lot of weight on it's shoulders, since it is THE END. i personally prefer shows that end with a great sense of closure, and leave you feeling all fuzzy inside. kenshin did this for me, whereas yu yu hakusho didn't. hopefully inuyasha will leave with a nice ending, where most, if not all, problems are taken care of. and before i stop babbling, another great series that i feel has a magnificent ending(even the three ovas that followed), is FUSHIGI YUUGI!! i have yet to find a person complain about the ending (besides all of the death...)

I liked both RK's endings, how he dies in the ova and the end of the manga. This last has a happy ending, Yahiko gets Kenshin's sword as a present for his genpuku/genpoku (sorry i don't remember) and Kenshin + Kaoru have a son.
