look i need help in Megaman Battle network2 for GBA. i am in the www area 1. and there is thes annoying people i cant kill. there called "protecto". they have 200 hp and have a countdown meter on them and when the countdown goes to zero everything around me exploads! how do i kill thes guys!??/

Use a Guardian chip. And have plenty of HP so you can survive until a Guardian comes up.

oh, the things that look like safes, right? what u have to do is kill all of them in 1 attack - thats the only way u can beat thhem. ur best bet is a program advance - if u got a cheat cartridge then use no.32, if not, try the protoman and megaman combo one - custom sword, variable sword and protoman chip (in that order i think). this attack knocks around 490 off all squares. (also use the giant bomb one - if ur really stuck ill tell u a really fast and powerful folder to produce)

also, beware the bosses in the area, and if u can get the chips u want, set ur preselected chip as invis3 or use the roll program advance (full health and 30 secs invincible).

oh, and get all the navi chips u can off the bosses in the area - in this case u would be fighting pharohman, who gives some powerful cards

what would also help in thhis situation is the style u have - shield is useful for this point, as u can automatically resist one attack, and if u can use the shield (i gave up on it) u can the following attacks. also, about the bad guys, im not sure that they all have to be destroyed together, i think its more along the lines of taking all their hp out in 1 go, though the attacks that do that often involve the surrounding enemies aswell. try and get lan or a custom style cos u can use more navi chips, which shall make it easier.

btw - do u have the first game, cos bass was much tougher in it
