I've been trying to find out how to work IRC for ages!!! It sounds like im the only one that cant figure it out by myself. I feel like an idiot trying to use IRC. I managed html, but IRC is crazy....

okay i'm going to tell u exactly how to use irc. ok first off u need a program called mirc once u get that set up your name and connect. Then at the top go to were it says Dcc then options once there scrool down till u see dcc. were it says on send request make sure auto get file is bubbled in. now were it says if file exists make sure it says resume. scrool down were it says on chat request bubble in auto accept now once u do that go back to were it says dcc click on folders scrool down were it says DCC ingonre make sure that it says disabled now go to server option make sure your check the Enable Dcc server. then once u do that press ok. tell me once u get that done so we can move on to the next part.

to find manga type "@find mangatitle"

then a bunch of chat windows will open click on one and type the trigger command on the screen. kinda like "/ctcp manga download".

if you still cant get it then observe and be patient

I think IRC is also crap. I can configure it, I can connect, I can download, I can chat. It blows when downloading, cause queues are long and download speeds are slow. I simply chat on a BBS and download using Bit Torrent.
