maiden milker

Hello I have a 5 yr old La Mancha doe who has never been bred. She has begun developing quite a large udder and is blowing her coat. I have removed all grain/high protein type supplements from her diet but am still concerned as the udder does not seem to be getting smaller. Milking her is not an option as she is just a pet and has never been milked or had her udder touched so whe would never allow it. Any suggestions other than wait and see? Thanks! Lorraine

There are a lot of products out to dry them up. We have always milked a little less every day for a week or two then stop, or not at all and let nature take its course. If we don't milk at all we watch then VERY close. We don't want a blown utter or mastites.
