Anybody miss me?Polly, sorry about your aunt.
jr, good for you and your chicken tractor. Know what kind you're gonna get yet?
EM, good luck with the building (ghetto?) and with Lotus.
Sheepish, congratulations. I was going to bring some of my kids to the sales today but was afraid because they don't usually bring much there. Turns out, not many were there so I could have gotten at least $75 each for them. Next week, someone will bring in a truckload, just watch.
Sandy, I started reading the Redwall series by Brian Jacques. It's about mice and woodland creatures going on adventures. This is unusual for me since I usually always read my whole Dragonriders of Pern throughout the summer since there are about 12 books in the series.
Sherri, have you taken possession of that house yet?
Hi Kirk and Joy.
Did I miss anyone who's been on lately?
Update on me. My bottle baby got really sick last week. 106 fever, wouldn't take her bottle. Spent several nights checking on her, force feeding and giving injections and cleaning up the squirts.
In the meantime, my son's rabbit broke her back. She is such a sweet thing that I'm trying to see if I can keep her going. Surprised Julie with a phone call. She didn't expect that. But she helped me with ideas for the rabbit. Doll diapers are still too big for this little thing so I'll have to make something because scours are starting.
Between the two and the antibiotics I'm taking for the Lymes, I was about wiped out. The baby is doing so much better and has taken to following my husband, even calling for him when he goes into the house for a few minutes. We let her run loose in the yard when we are going to be outside. Her favorite spot lately is laying in the garden cart.
Swimming pool is finally clear but we cannot find the leak anywhere. Isn't that strange? I figured that something wedged in the hole and maybe a flap covered it. My son feels the dirt shifted on a seam so that is where I'm sure it is. All well, why worry, right?
Pond and landscaping had to be put on hold until antibiotics are finished because I can't be in the sun. I don't mind, I bought a new rope hammock (my butt split through the old one we had so it was time) and life is good.

Welcome back Dee - glad to see your computer troubles are cleared up. A hammock this time of year sounds really good.
