I have been looking all over for a poster reproduction of Jean Dupas painting "Les Perruches". No one seems to carry this print, but they do of others by Dupas. It is a very famous painting that is very Deco, and was used in some Hollywood movies as backround.

Any help on where to obtain this woudl be great.

I do not know of any licensed posters of this picture.

You probably know that the original painting is currently on display as part of the big "Art Deco" show at the Victoria & Albert Museum, which is soon to finish and go on to Canada and the USA. Dont miss that show by the way, if you have not seen it.

According to the catalogue it belongs to the Xavier Roberts Collection. I seem to recall vaguely that it may have been in the Museum of Art of the City of Paris at one time, - possibly on loan (from a previous owner?)and it might be worth trying them.

does anyone know much money you could get for some of his originals? My grandmother just past recently and she had several of his orignals all dated between 1915-1930.thanks
