good series: Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X Neon genesis Evangelion Hellsing Naruto Yugioh(Series 1 is prefered but it's hard as hell to find) DNAngel Trigun Scryed(aka s-CRY-ed) Gundam Wing Outlaw Star Cardcaptor Sakura

good series based on word of mouth(aka I haven't seen, but my friends say it's good): Excel Saga King of Bandits Jing Witch Hunter Robin

Good movies: Princess Mononoke Spirited Away
