*sigh* i'm pretty sure cartoon network is taking off yu yu on friday for that new show cyborg 009. does anyone have the courtesy to tell what that show is about? i mean, is it worthwhile? because it looks like kikaider and frankly, i'd rather kill myself than watch another kikaider-like show. thanks in advance!

yeah it does look a lot like kikaider. the first time i saw the commercial i thought it was kikaider! stupid show.....stupid cartoon network...... i am dissapointed with them.

toonami didnt haven option cus yu yu kep geting bad reports so evryone wnted 2 try how 009 would do. it signed on to take yu yu place on toonami for at least 3-4 mnts

Ironically Cyber 009 was made by the same person who created Kikaider, and if you'll refer to the Kikaider thread, looks aren't quite as important as content. I've also heard some very good reviews for this series as well, so I'd give it a chance before shunning it.

Shame about YYH though...I loved Justin's portrayal of Yusuke. *sigh* perhaps I'll still be able to get DVD's or something.

Well, as far as I know right now, they aren't going to take Yu Yu Hakusho off Cartoon Network for good. I think they will keep it on Saturdays at night because that is what they have it at right now. But, when I watched an episode like a couple of weeks ago on Saturday, they were only on like episode 5 or so.
