I've used Angelfire (http://www.angelfire.com) for around 5 years, now. Just sign up for their free web hosting, and start coding! Well, it has options for if you are or are not "fluent" in HTML. I also use Microsoft Dreamweaver for doing the web site for where I work. That is such a great program for rearranging things easily (not necessarily in code, but in images), but it is especially great for those who don't know much HTML. Hope this helps! There are probably better servers out there, but I actually use sailormoon.com^_^;; (It's really to get an e-mail address, but they have a "build your own homepage" thing too) I really only suggest this site to you if you actually know HTML though... it likes being odd and not saving things you type into a new page too, so save everything into .txt files!
