Taking Screenshots In Windows Media Player?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Animes : One Thread |
A couple days ago i updated my windows media player and now when i try to take screenshots of the episode it turns up black. Whats wrong? It worked before! Is there anyway to fix this? Thanx in advance for any help

Hmm, i don't know why it worked before because taking screenshots from avi files in WMP technically impossible (how you did that before?). Try to use VirtualDub.

Though I don't use windows regularily, can't you just hit Prnt Scrn and windows will take a screenshot of whatever's on the monitor? If I'm mistaken, then try going to downloads.com and looking for a screenshot program.

no, the print screen button wont work because it makes the thing go black.

Use media player 2, the normal media player won't let you. It should be in the folder with windows media player & the filename is mplayer2.exe

Actually that was only a fluke, worked once. You could try ctrl+i though, that works.

I've been having the same problem, when i run a .mpg. It wont let me take a screenshot of what is playing. If you move the window over where the movie is playing, you can see the movie in the image. But saving it causes it to disapear.I guess, you just cant do it, some kind of rights protection. Unless some knows a way around it???
