We were informed that Bishop Ingram was seriously injured in an auto accident some weeks ago.

Is there any recent informantion regarding his condition?

Yes, but the bishop is at home, being booked off efectively for about 3 months. All series of annual conference have now been postponed, and we hope the bishop will be back on his fee by September 2003. We praise the Lord for the miracles and for saving the life of Bishop Ingram. He is running the district now from his bedroom, praise the Lord!

I have been in contact with Rev. Dr. Jessica Ingram this week, she says the cards and phone calls really make a difference to the Bishop and asks that people call the Bishop and send him get well cards. The address and phone no. can be found at the A.M.E. Herald web page. The A.M.E. Herald is a weekly news publication on the internet that publishes the news of the A.M.E. Church. We will keep our readers updated on the Bishops progress.

Rev. Ingram has asked that all cards be sent by JUNE 19TH so she can take them back to south africa.
