Hi, everyone! Praise God the A.M.E. Church is the greatest denomination in the world!!!!! It has been a joy for my daughter Danielle and I to be the editors of the A.M.E. Herald. For there is so much GOOD NEWS in our denomination. Our churches are on the move for God. If you have any doubts please read the A.M.E. Herald. Our churches are leaders in the community, Presidential hopefuls are coming to our churches, presidents of foreign countries are meeting with our ministers. We as A.M.E's have much to be proud of. The children of darkeness want us to think our church is dying. They want us to think that all pastors are bad. They want us to think that we as A.M.E.'s don't care about one another. Well they are wrong! We the staff of the A.M.E. Herald see the Herald as a ministry, we will share the good news of our church. There is so much news that every week, I am frustrated because I do not have enough room to report everything;-) In the fall we will be expanding the Herald to print more news and offer more articles.

Presiding Elder Guidry on behalf of the A.M.E staff and Danielle, we thank you for taking time from your busy schedule to write us. We have the most talented staff in the world and it is an honor to work with such gifted people. Danielle and I will be doing a series called "Meet our staff." Each issue we will highlight our bureau chiefs and columnists and music editor so our readers will get to know them. We have big plans, and will be expanding in the fall to add more pages and articles.

Yes, God has big plans for Danielle, she became A.M.E. and is answering her call to ministry. She will be starting seminary next year. The A.M.E. Church has given me so much! Danielle and I are in the same denomination. She was presbyterian before. And we are doing ministry together. We hope you will come and visit Bozeman, Montana. It is gorgeous. Ted Turner lives in Bozeman, Michael Keaton, Dennis Quaid is 30 minutes away, Whoopi Goldburg is a half hour away. Tom Brokaw has a house 40 minutes away. It is gorgeous and people are moving here by the truckloads from california;-)
