where the hell can the file be? i looked into my shared folder and it's not there, i checked on kazaa lite and it said it's completed. i tried looking for it everywhere, but can't find it. is there a folder where the history of it would be, i check my recycle bin and there's no clues there either

you don't happen to use pTrack do you? i used it once and i couldn't get it to work correctly and my files just disappeared after finish downloading. so if you do, set all files to go to my shared folder. and then you can uninstall pTrack hehe.

Have you tried searching for the file on your hard drive? All you have to do is go to the start button, go up to the search menu, and select for files and folders. Then once your window opens up, type in something like "inuyasha" without the quotes. After that any file with the word "inuyasha" will be shown in the search window. If the word "inuyasha" wasn't in the name of the files you downloaded just replace it with something that was.

There now that wasn't so bad. ^_^

For some reason this situation really tickles me. Why don't you try saving the same file/same type of file, and pay attention to where it says it's going to save it? Then cancel the download and look wherever it was about to put the files. I've had to do that a few times.

i tried searching for it, not there i tried the .dat file and the .avi as well as inuyasha i checked kazaa, the file was supposed to be dled into my shared folder, and a few minutes b4 the dl finished, it was still in the folder help

Sometimes kazaa doesn't convert the files see if a dat file about the same size exists if so just rename it to .avi

can you still see the name of the video on kazza? if u do right click on it and click on save as and put it on your desktop. *_*

HAA!!!! it has happen to me too.... i sreach the whole comp no file... i compelte a mtv and an anime both gone!? and i'm not using ptrack!

~**SOLUTION*~

here's how to slvoe the problem, it worked for me.

If u used to set ur download directory prevously to exmaple, c:/kazaa/mysharedfolders. And after u installed kazaalite decied to change the dl folder to c:/kazaalite/mysharedfolders, thus removing c:/kazaa/mysharedfolders. The old *.dat files when compeleted will automically try to save itself back to c:/kazaa/mysharedfolders. and if the dirctory is gone it will del the file.

SO.....keep the old directory and the file will appear there.
