I went to newwise.com and I got it. I will tell you what I did ok First go yahoo type www.newwise.com If the first search title are just a couple of boxes and below is 2 boxes then the letters GBA and more boxes your on the right track click on it and you will see heading of games that are new it doesn't matter if it is in chinnese or other language. If the first game says Angel collection your on the right track scroll to the bottom and if you see a word like this -OOCuAuDA it means next click on it and when new games refresh do the same as above (click next) repeat one more time it will apperar now it is # 956 Bokujou Monogatari: Mineral town no Nakama TAchi Click it IF it says Cannot find I just clicked detect network settings Email before sunday 5|15

HM:FOMT as far as I know is only in japanese and I havn't found any translations for it. It's scheduled to be released in USA sometime September 2003.

For those of you still looking for the Japanese Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral town rom, in my opinion IRC is the best way to find any gba rom you're looking for. Time wasted clicking link after link and getting 404s or pop-up ads for porn is time well- spent browsing people's fservers in a decent chatroom, and it's less virus-prone than Kazaa, too.

That said, do what ya like... but I think it's well worth the effort up front to Google yourself some information on gba roms and fileservers on IRC. With that information and the name of the game (the game was released as bokujou monogatari -- Mineral Town no nakamatachi in Japan) you practically can't miss.

My unsolicited advice isn't complete without suggesting you buy the game when it comes out if you spend much time with the rom. :) Fortunately it the English version of the game should be released any day now as long as it isn't delayed again...

You spend all day looking for the rom? That's a bit weak. It's rather easy to find if you know how to use a search engine and apply a little common sense.

A few things about the English translation : 1) It doesn't exist yet. 2) Luckily, it doesn't have to. This is Harvest Moon, it's rather easy to get the hang of. If you're having difficulties with the language, look at a first-week walkthrough for BTN, which is essentially the same game. The dialogue is vaguely amusing but not really essential to the whole process. 3) The game will be out in a month or two anyway. If you don't want to pay anything for your games and can't read a word of Japanese, you'll probably either have to buy it or suck on it until someone gets around to ripping the rom for you. But seeing as you seem to have difficulty operating a search engine, I'm sure you'll all be posting here, complaining that you can't find it for a very, very long time to come. But as "Eric" says, you all just have to stick together. Lots of really stupid people in a clog are smarter than just one stupid person. Or is it more laughable? I forget which.

FoMT is a great game, by the way. Especially if you can read Japanese.

Okay... Not to give your hopes up but you can go to many websites to check what rom releases are coming out (gbaroms.com, or gba-nfo.com) ... I kinda feel sorry for you guys for being harassed... So I am trying to contribute some useful information so you can't be so played again like that... And the game is not a beta so you can't get a beta version of the rom so just wait for it to come out... Oh... And go here for Japanese games that could be playable even though you don't understand English: j-db.org and this link: http://www.j-db.org/jdb.php?page=game_info&code=a4nj is for Harvest Moon translation patches, box art pictures, etc. You could go to advance-power.de to get the latest 10 roms... But there are numerous other sites that you can get from rom #1-#1220, #1220 being the latest as I am writing this. Okay, first of all, if you don't know much about emulation or ROMs or don't know what that is, please get out of this section. Second, Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town in Japanese can be downloaded at: http://www.cghm.8k.com/hmworld/downloads/ The PARTIAL translation can also be downloaded there, as well as a tool to patch it to your ROM. As of right now, the English version of this game IS NOT RELEASED ANYWHERE! That means, YOU CAN'T DOWNLOAD THE ENGLISH VERSION YET. I couldent get it so i went to this Aribic site and suprisingly found a working full english version! goto http://www.powerberry.neopages.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=658 the first post contanes the advance power file but from a different mirror this webstie's HMFOMT Engish should work for all the people still with out harvest moon or try http://www.gpemu.cjb.net/ and goto game files then follow along to gba rom section download the applet activation file then resatrt and download HMFOMT both of those two adresses should work for full English!
