I have been using KaZaa for a long time and I have yet to see a successful worm be able to do any sort of long term damage to my computer. There was one before, but it was halted thanks to a special team of P2P 'friendlies'.

People, if you don't like P2P programs, then don't use them. There's really no point in reaking havoc on other people PC's.

This worm is detectable under an virus scan, or so I have read, so scan the files before you run them.

The part about them being a document file and infecting your computer is a rumor. It cannot run unless it's initialized as a program.

Thats telling them .D Always scan the file before opening or running it. it's ur best defence against viral infection. it's when ur not careful that shit appends. Some of my bud lost all they had on their drive cuz they did not check the files they where dling. And remenber to do a weekly update of ur virus scanner, cuz it might not detect new viruses. take care y'all

i think i have a bug from kazaa, i delete these files and they keep comming back! there bad files to, they say prono stuff. but its a not pics its a file and its only 19 kb. i didnt download these and now i have them. they say the date 2 20 03. so i had these inuyasha episodes with the dat 2 22 03 so i removed them to another folder

now the pron stuff doesnt come in either of the folders. its messed up

I hate kazaa but i continue 2 use it. the reason i hate Kazaa cuase a virus totaled my hardrive and when i tried to fix it this cuased my other hardrive to be infected. so i brought them to radioshack and it infected their stuff to kind of cool but i miss my stuff and its expensive 2 buy hd all the time.
