I was thinking of racing my MV @ laguna (just for kicks) this July but rain at infineon cancelled qualifying (points then order of entry dictated grid) for 750 ss & the AMA will not allow a laguna entry without prior points. It's also possible the bike is not homolgamated.

I ride for a 250 team & happen to live in the bay area, so getting my kawasaki 636 & MV to Laguna is relativly easy. I could ship my 636 out to road america or brainard for points then qualify on the 636 at laguna & ride the MV around during the race.

Maybe some of my MV brothers could coax Cagiva into supporting a racer at a WSB round (a real shock or some more h.p.) or even just let me know if the bike is legel? sean crane ama#162
