I ripped Zone of the Enders and made it into a vcd. I made one with the bitrate of 1150 and 4520 in MPEG1 format. When I played it on my DVD player they both looked the same (Too blurry and choppy). Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?

Mpeg layers a movie file into six layers of color...TV's only have 3 so it could be that your movie isn't compatable or its just that mpeg's usually come in a pretty crappy quality you should try getting the file in avi format. Note: the file will be much larger in avi format!
