Awww gee!!! I'm gonna be the last one to find out what you got 'cause we're headed out the door right now for the evening! Hope it's bigger than a breadbox :-)!! I just have to ask...is it the puppy you always wanted?????

-- Anonymous, April 26, 2003

Animal, vegetable or mineral?! I'm betting on a puppy dog too!

-- Anonymous, April 26, 2003

Half a duck? :>)

-- Anonymous, April 27, 2003

a rash?

-- Anonymous, April 27, 2003

A new lamb??

Sandy

LOL!! Good response, EM!!

-- Anonymous, April 27, 2003

bigger then a breadbox (remember those?) and blue.

-- Anonymous, April 27, 2003

rules out half a duck on both accounts :>)

-- Anonymous, April 27, 2003

A new truck?

-- Anonymous, April 28, 2003

I guess . . . A PUPPY! or a dog, anyway! Do I win?

-- Anonymous, April 28, 2003

Joy...I already guessed a puppy!! Then I guessed a truck 'cause Dee said it was blue...have you ever seen a blue puppy :-)??

-- Anonymous, April 28, 2003

Half a blue puppy?

-- Anonymous, April 28, 2003

It COULD be a blue-ticked hound! :-P I missed the part about it being blue -- skimming too fast I guess. Yeah, truck sounds right . . .

-- Anonymous, April 28, 2003

If it's bigger than a breadbox and blue, then I really hope that EM's guess isn't correct! hehehehe

So how long ya gonna keep us in suspense Dee?

-- Anonymous, April 28, 2003

Blue heeler, blue merle Aussie or Sheltie....see, it could be a puppy. Tho, shelties are smaller than a breadbox when they're puppies - at least, they're smaller than my breadbox!

-- Anonymous, April 28, 2003

I don't even HAVE a breadbox!!!

-- Anonymous, April 28, 2003

I have imposed on Joy to post a picture for all of you to see since I can't find the directions on how to do it and don't want to keep you all waiting. If the picture cannot get up, I'll describe it in detail.

I'm glad that no one mentioned that a dead dog can be blue.

-- Anonymous, April 28, 2003

A neutered dog would be "blue" too , no matter what his coat color is. Especially if its a late life neutering. :>)

Only in some men's imagination, Jay.

-- Anonymous, April 29, 2003

Jay, do you think the male dog's ability to lick himself down there in any way helps compensate for the loss of equipment? :-)

Dee is going to keep us all in suspense until we turn blue!

I found the picture loading instructions so..

Gee...anyone going to say anything??

-- Anonymous, April 30, 2003

Well...I was kinda wondering if I should say anything, Dee....but did I win???

-- Anonymous, April 30, 2003

Yes Marcia, you won a ride in my new truck. Isn't she cute? Gotta think of a name. Chevy S10. I was thinking Sally but my son doesn't like it.

I don't think the puppy will happen for a few years yet, if at all. I kept saying that the baby goat needed a friend but he didn't fall for it.

Very nice, Dee! So, is he gonna let you haul manure in it?! Where are the stock racks?!

-- Anonymous, May 01, 2003

Nice truck, Dee; but I personally wouldn't want a nice truck on a farm, knowing what my pickup used to go through on the farm! It was a wreck (appearance-wise anyway) by the time I practically had to give it away!

Is it YOUR truck? Or both of yers? Or is your son going to be driving it soon too? ;0

I wanted to get a used truck to haul stuff but he didn't want "someone else's problems". And when you compaired the prices of used, you weren't really making that much of a savings (too many leases I guess) so we went with the new.

It is MINE. I'm not used to stick but I'm getting better. Only stall once in a while now :) Hubby hasn't even looked at it (fine by me) and I'm already starting to show my son how to shift. (wait until the first time he pops the cluch) He's 15 and they can get their learners permit at 16 here.

Dee, how big will it get when it's grown? What does it eat? Will it be the same color or will it change with age?

Congrats!

Wildman, (curious)

Even though I'm a Ford gal, I will say that's a cute truck. I've steadfastly refused to learn to drive a stick, so you're a braver woman than I am. I don't think it's weird to give your truck a name, my car is named Rachel. :)

Picture isn't showing up right now, but I saw it before. Nice!

How about "Ole Blue"? Or Babe (like Babe the Blue Ox)? My little Prius is named Holly (she's holly green).

-- Anonymous, May 02, 2003

Ole Blue would remind me too much of Christmas Story. "and it's got this thing in the stock that tells time.."

I deleted the picture from the source I put it (Countryside Friends Picture Page)in cyber space. Could that be why it's gone?

How about just plain Chebby?
