Now this has been bugging me for a long time. But is there a difference between Manga and Magna, or is it just that people don't know how it's spelt.

There is a difference... Manga is the Japanese comic things (you know what I mean)... and Magna is not (if i remember correctly, its a model of Honda motorcycles)... I think some people don't know how to spell it.

Magna is also a latin word meaning great.
