When i pull out the viewfinder of my JVC 90, it should activate the camera and I should be able to see through it. Neither. Pulling out the LCD screen turns the camera on but the viewfinder is still black. Anyone else solve a similar issue?

You have bad slide switch , check, or bad contact in cpu, this problem is very dificult.

Tu puedes tener mal algun slide switch o una falsa soldadura en la cpu que recibe la informacion de esos switches, si es un falso contacto debes de usar flux alrededor de la cpu un soldador de aire y un microscopio para poder resoldar , suerte.
