I just want to share with you something that our church is doing during Lent. My head trustee shared with me last week that he was concerned about the faith of our congregation. Since most are new believers. He felt we needed to do something in light of impending war with Iraq. I agreed and this week we are starting a noon time series called "Faith in the times of troubles" we will be meeting at different restraunts and coffee shops in towns. So people can come during lunch. I will look at how the church has responded to war in the past and since our church gave up "Fear" for lent we will be working on that also. Is your church doing anything to address the fear of impending war?
