i have just d/l a music video in mpeg format,and the sound is crap but the video is good.i have also d/l the same song in mp3 format,now can u edit the video by removing the audio from the video and introducing the mp3 (which is better audio quality) into the video. and also another question,if the first is possible,the video has a 10 sec intro before the music begins,can u use anything to match the audio to the video. cheers.

This is a very good question. It is possible, but unfortunately it's very complicated. It's one of those things that if you have to ask how to do it, you don't really know enough to do it. Here are some vague guidelines. First of all, you will have to demux the video into separate audio and video streams. You will then need to convert the MP3 to MPEG-2 audio (also known as MPEG-1 layer II audio). Finally, you will have to edit the video clip so that you can mux the new audio with the video without the intro. You will need an editor such as MPEGVCR (http://www.womble.com) that will allow you to move the sound forwards or backwards in the mux and you'll have to do a lot of muxes until you get it right. MP3 audio is not valid for VCD/SVCD, which is why you have to change it. I suggest you go to sites such as http://www.vcdhelp.com and http://www.doom9.net and read some of the documents there. If you really want to do this, you need to learn as much as you can about the process.

You can use adobe premiere to sync the sound with video you first put only video on the timeline en then you can insert the mp3 whereever you want it to begin and then save the file oke succes

u guyz r fuckin idiots ... use goldwave and only goldwave ... its almost all u need ... but first demux with tmpgenc or extract da separate streams through virtualdub (if u do it separately, ive found virtualdub to work faster in da end), but den u open goldwave and DO LITERALLY ANYTHING U WANT WIT DA MP3 FIRST, den CONVERT IT TO MP2 (so u wont need to use stupid pisa shit like HeadAche, BeSweet, or 2Lame programs), and mux again wit TMPGEnc! da reason i say IDIOTS is cuz MPEG2VCR has some of da shittiest features, one of da worst interfaces, and one of da longest processing times lmfao ... i just hope u guys dont ever write a guide for someone! fuckin make dem leave deir computer on for 3 days just to create a better sounding video! and oh yah no problem carl ...
