Praise God for all that he does for us. Praise God for the gift of his son. Praise God for the Holy Spirit. Praise his wonderful name. There is so much going on in the world today, and in our lives that I think it important that we stop and look at our relationship with God. I am a chaplain at a nursing home and one of our patients is dying from alcolism. I spoke to a close friend who was devasted. She wanted to know how could deal with issues like this on a daily basis. I explained to her that for me to there at the end of this woman's life is the reason I am a minister. I am a servant of God who is here to spread the good news and to invite people to give their lives to God. It is never to late. So for me the important thing in life is "our relationship with God" to REPENT means to "turn around" to be in right mind. For when we are sinning and not close to God we have turned away and we are not in right mind. How do we show and tell others about the benifits of having a relationship with God?
