need opinions of plans for bolger "big dory" sold on website common sense boats, stitch and glue dory, 19'6'', 48"beam, weight ? have you seen it, rowed it, build it, etc, etc.

Mike,thank for your reponse and link,I'll take you advice, please fell free tell us more about that dory,for example i didn't know that was the " Stretched Lightdory19'6"x4'" nor did i see those plans on payson's web site. how about weight, materials? stitch and glue? thanks again.

The plans have no building instructions but it looks really easy.It calls for 1/4 inch ply on the sides and 1/2 ply for the three frames.You simply nail the sides to the stem,transom,three frames and epoxy all the seams.I cant wait to build my boat.I sent you an email with a photo of one in case you have not seen one completed.They are really nice looking boats.
