We are going to a large, 2000+ people, Thanksgiving dinner in a nearby town. Our kids all have other committments, so we decided this would be nice. We did it also last year with our son and we thoroughly enjoyed it. They have the traditional meal, and have live music. What I really enjoyed is meeting some new folks at your table that come from every walk of life. You have business executives sitting with laborers, doctors with mechanics etc. It was truly interesting to do this.

If you have the opportunity to do the community dinner sometime, by all means try it, it is great. At least ours is, but I would expect them all to be good.
