Website advertisements

I know bills need to be paid, so pop-up ads on your website are not surprising, but I have to say that the flashing red bars about how I was an instant winner were pretty distracting while I was looking at your statements of faith, dogmatic principles, etc. Worse yet were 2 separate pop-ups for online gambling. I believe in free will and people have a right to gamble if they choose, but promoting it on a Church website where Christ is the message...? It seems awfully inappropriate.

Ouch!

You struck a nerve, Brother Wilson!

My own personal belief is that your website should stand on its own two feet, unless you are doing a "cross-promotional" item.

The pop-ups are a sign that you are using a "free" hosting service.

IMHO, you are electronically half-steppin'. I can tell you that as the owner/webmaster for 2 sites, God has provided the increase so we don't have to use pop-ups.

P.S. My wife and I can host your website at reasonable prices. e-mail me at revjtharper@earthlink.net if youare interested.

I find that alot when I visit websites. Sometimes even 2 or 3 popups will occur and then they are positioned so that its hard to cancel them.

Some web hosting sites automatically include them.
