how can i protect my films and music so if some one buys them off me they cannot copy them

You can't. The best you can hope for is that you can make it so difficult to copy that maybe 90% or more of the people who buy it can't figure out how to duplicate it. However, the standards for VCD and cd audio don't support any kind of copy protection. Whatever you use to protect your disc may introduce incompatibilities in playback and you may simply end up with pissed off customers who can't play your discs. Is that what you want? If it is, do a web search on the subject. I think http://www.vcdhelp.com talks about a way to copy protect VCDs. I thought it was pretty clever, but it may introduce playback problems and it may still be copyable by someone who really understands the format well.
