Please see our new christian online magazinegreenspun.com : LUSENET : A.M.E. Today Discussion : One Thread |
Several months ago we started "Blessings Magazine" with one article and got a great response. Now we will be doing a monthly online magazine. One of our goals is evangelism for our denomination. Our hope is that people around the world will read our magazine and join an A.M.E church in their area or start one in their country. So please check out our magazine and spread the word for us in your church, co-workers etc. In January 2002 we will be adding video so we will have some wonderful interviews. Please pray for this endeavor. Go towww.ourchurch.com/member/b/blessings4u
Also can someone do a link. Thanks

I love you guys so much for I feel we are all on the mission field doing the lord's work. When I pray to God he tells me that he is going to use the A.M.E church to evangelize around the world. We are being called to carry out the great commission. This year at the fifth district mid year conference Bishop Bryant and Dr. Cee had speakers and workshops from the Asian community, and latin community. Kingdom building includes ALL people. My daughter and I are so proud to be A.M.E and by the way Ray the picture on our web site is 10 minutes from where we live! Our town is completely surrounded my the Rocky Mountains and 4 national forests. And YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK is in the fifth district, so I hope many of you will come and visit in the summer. My daughter and I thank you for your kind words and thanks everyone for viewing our magazine. The magazine will be published Monthly so do check back for our Christmas issue on Dec. 1st. God bless God is so good!

Congratulations too, what a wonderful web site. I'm so glad the good Lord lead me to A.M.E.Today web site. I have gotten so much information and I have been spreading the word to all about this web site. Now this Blessings Magazine is something I will be telling my friends about. Now you say you will be adding video in this January 2002 or 2003?............Clara

Rev. Rogers,It is indeed a wonderful web site. I pray for the continued blessings and growth to your church. I hope you will be able to post pictures of your church and members. God bless.

Clara we will be adding streaming video and audio in January 2003. And we are really excited. There will be more pages and guest writers and scholars. We will not forget to have fun also. So there will be music also. God is directing how he wants the magazine to be done so you know we have a creative God. Mary in terms of pictures on our church web page. We will be working on that also. We just had a scanner donated to our church and new software. I hope everyone will continue to enjoy the magazine and it will definitely grow. We will be adding a message board with a moderator also in January and we just got a reporter to cover events in Washington. So keep praying for us. We want the world to know that A.M.E's rock!!!! Thanks everyone for your tremendous support. We have never done anything like this before and your encouraging words mean a lot. Keep praying for us and spread the word! Joy in Christ

Rev. Harper you are truly my fifth district brother! I can't take credit for the midi music. OURCHURCH.COM which hosts our site provides templates for web building. Also on each page you can chose from a large selection of midi songs, you just click and it is on the page. What is funny is that I do not have a sound card in my computer. So the first song I chose was "All at once" I told my daughter who told me it was a Whitney Houston and sang the song to me. It was the wrong choice. But "Ancient of Days is one of our favorite songs" I had to hear it on my daughter's computer. Thanks for asking about the midi files. OURCHURCH.COM has a lot of features I like including a newsletter we can send out. If you attend the Bishop's planning meeting please share what happened on the board. Thanks
