I have two program that record VDC but both aren't working perfecrtly. On " Roxio cd Creator 5" it record it but when I put it on my DVD it saids VCD but then it start flashing a number something like this-C:13:00 and it doesn't play. On CDRWin 5.01 it did record but then it said that there was "an error and need to close down". Any one can help me?what is another program to record VCD"S?

You could try Nero. You can try it for free for 30 days. Go to http://www.ahead.de to get a copy. It could just be that your DVD player doesn't support burnable media. In this case, there is nothing you can do. You can check the DVD player compatibility list at http://www.vcdhelp.com to see if that's the case. By the way, Roxio is terrible and I don't recommend using it to make VCDs.

Try to use a CDRW media... Most DVD Players are compatible with CDRW media.... Your DVD Player is Sony???

tomson_br, Yes I have a SONY DVD-S560D and I try using a CD-Rw and it worked thanx for your help.

I too have the same problem with Roxio Easy CD creator Platinum. No player could play the VCD even when it burn at the low speed(4x). Some players reads the total time, but no picture. Some shows the track number as '0'. So i changed the program to Nero 5.5. All the created VCD s are perfect(no errors), even with CD-RW in my player Sony VX 333, and in all the other players i tested.

Nero is the best burner i can suggest.

Yeah, I have the same problem. I've tried to see some Movies recorded in VCD, but the only answer that I get is.......NO DISK or something like that ,,,,,,,,I don't remember right now,,but the DVD Player doesnt read them.........???? Any Help ??
