God called my husband and I to visit Kenya, Africa in 2001 and it was truly a blessing. The sad part is the people really need water wells, there is water under the ground, they need assistance to drill. Our prayer is to return in 2003 with the funds to provide a small rural community north of Nariobi, with a well, this community has the land for the well, they just need the funds to do the drilling, we have identify an evangelical organization that can do the work. Rev. Wheatly you can count St. Paul Community Church in as a partner for the well project. Our vice presdient of the WMS is putting on a fund raiser in the next several weeks to raise money. We are excited that we can help. And I talk about you and your project during the service today. For being a Christian is also about justice and equality for all people. The idea that a mother would have to watch her child die for lack of water is too much for our hearts to bear! I pray other churches and individuals will come on board.
