Joy, a while back you told me a way to change something in my e-mail program so that I had to double click instead of single click to open mail; thus allowing me to delete mail without opening it. I've been trying to figure it out on my own; and then wandered through the forum looking for the info, but can't find it. If you (or anyone else) can tell me how to do that again, I would be very grateful. Many thanks!

Pollly, since getting that virus, I switched to using Eudora for my email. It doesn't get the viruses because it works differently from Outlook Express. I am still getting used to it. But it was a free download.

Go to the toolbar, click VIEW, then LAYOUT. Remove the check from the Show Preview Pane box. That should take care of it. Let me know if that doesn't do what you are trying to accomplish.
