I am curious. Has anybody tried to go to the special parts website and order the carbon fiber parts and the magnesium parts and put them on their bike? Do they really reduce the weight of the machine and thus increase performance? I am curious or else it will be pointless to spend thousands of dollars. Any kind of advice would be appreciated. I did this to a ducati 996. I caught this strange disease called Carbon Fibre Fever. I put this stuff everywhere I could on the bike. when I was done, I took a long look at the bike and realized that the bike looked MUCH better all stock (except for the pipes). So I sold it and lost thousands. Save your money for something else.
