This site is unprofressional, unethical and ignorant of the realities of working in Local Authority Social Work Departments. It also demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of the wealth of statutory and professional guidelines which staff members work under.

All Social Workers are trained to be critically reflective in their practice, and this is a factor in the immense pressures that they work under. Sites such as this are not making any kind of contribution to the debate around the pressures that workers face and the massive caseloads which are carried. Indeed this site is damaging both in terms of the way in which it publishes criticism in a totally one-sided way, and leaves staff members open to the threat of physical intimidation.

I would be interested to hear from anyone at thecarepractice.co.uk who can explain even a mention of such damaging nonsense.
