I too would love to see all my friends. I would not have a problem sending a picture. But it might me easier for Rev. Fisher if we sent digital pictures. Hmm, actually if he has a scanner he could scan them in. I would like to add one caveat that we send REAL pictures of ourselves. Baby brother Bill might try to send a picture of a 20 year old body builder;-) Rev. Biwas I would like to see you also. God bless.

I want to clarify something I am much younger than Bill Dickens but I call him Baby Brother becauses he thinks he is younger than anyone else. Oops I can't believe I just wrote that after reading Rev. Fishers wonderful newsletter about teasing one's brother. I hope Rev. Fisher is packing and missed what I said. I am soooooooo funny;-)

I love this idea.Since I have pulled together a collection of my life and I have pictures going back to age 1 year, 9 months. Which one should I send?
LOL- only kidding.
Great Ideas.

I look like Wesley Snipes and John Shaft. But don't take my word for it just ask Bob Matthews, J. Payne, Bishop A.J. Richardson and those Memphis Belles I referenced earlier about my recent trip. Now I'm not advocating "playa-hating" but Denise is right real pictures should be a prerequisite for submission. Protocol established, I seek a waiver for photo submission since many on this board have seen me in person. QED

I have been wanting to ask you this for a long time, what does "QED" stand for, or mean? I am not up to snuff on all the abbreviations, I am just recently learning that "LOL" means "laugh out loud", ha! ha!.

QED == "Quod Erat Demonstrabatur", which is Latin for "That which was to be demonstrated." It is usually stated at the conclusion of a (mathematical or logical) proof.Bill Dickens gleams in the ebon hue of Wesley Snipes, the massive sprawl of a middle linebacker, the refined intellect of a W.e.B. DuBois, the close coiff of a Courtney Vance, the studious glasses of a T.D. Jakes, resonates in the mellifluous tones of - well, 2 parts Barry White, 3 parts John Houseman, the sartorial splendor of Mr. Houseman, and the twinkling eye of Tom Sawyer.
As for pictures, if you don't mind the download (it's currently a big file, and a smaller one will replace it during the next maintenance cycle), you may peep Rev. Payne and myself by clicking here.

Hmmmmmm.....Jerryl: I will give strong consideration to use this as part of my introduction at a future economic conference where I am a speaker. It will definitely "raise the expectations" of the audience. Courtney Vance is one tall, tan, talented brother!! I think he is also married to the Yale-educated Hollywood actress Angela Bassett. Woe is me!! Why couldn't Ms. Bassett have been a student at Harvard instead of Yale when I was a DuBois Fellow in 1987?? Actually, I thought my singing was more reminescent of Teddy Pendegrast and Rev. Hezekiah Walker than Barry White :-) QED
