Hello! My family has just adopted a 1957 Pullman-Standard Dining Car with Full Kitchen to renovate through the Indiana Tranportation Museum in Noblesville, IN. This car was for the ACL to replace a car that had been wrecked. The car was completed in 1959 in the railroads own shops. Its ACL number was 5961. In 1967 it became part of the SAL. It was converted to Amtrack 8091 in 1971. All of this information was found through the NRHS. We would like to know how to find specifications, drawings, pictures, etc. Can you steer us in the right direction? Thank You!

This car was named Naples on the ACL, and replaced the wrecked diner Cordele. The number 5961 actually wasn't applied until the Seaboard Coast Line (ACL plus SAL) merger in 1967.
