It appears we (transplants from other regions)need help in finding places which serve our favorite dishes or types of food. We need experts or those on a first name basis with the knife and fork to give suggestions of places we might find these dishes we seek! I will be in Chicago next week and would like to find a place with good fried fish (without the spaghetti)...a place other than Captain Hardtimes! Are there any suggestions? Additionally, are there places which serve Philly Cheese Stakes (forgive me my Philly friends for mispronouncing your beloved Hoagie)within the city of Charlotte, Norht Carolina? Let's establish the hook-up!

My wife invited me to her job yesterday for lunch and I ate a BBQ sandwich at their annual Labor Day Luncheon. If I wasn't close to being famished I wouldn't have come close to that imposter. Man, do I yearn for NC-style BBQ. Well, at least I married a woman from Philly (straight from West Philly)who does know how to prepare a tasty Philly cheesesteak. QED
