Good Morning Rev. Rogers,Hello from Richmond, Virginia where it is about 90 to 100 degrees in the shade for the past 3 weeks.
" I love thee , O Lord my strength the Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge My shield and the horn of my salvation My stronghold I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, And I am saved from my enemies." Psalm 18:1-3(NAS)

Praise God from whom all blessings flow, I am here and accounted for!! If I had ten thousand tongues, I couldn't thank God enough for what he has been in my life! From last Sunday's Sunday School lesson I was so moved by Psalms 96:5: "For all the gods (note the lower case) of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens." Let all of us praise God. Blessings Barbara Ransom

It is wonderful to hear from new A.M.E Today family members, thank you so much for posting. I remember the warm welcome I received when I first started posting. It was this discussion board that touched my heart and made me want to be A.M.E and now I am an A.M.E pastor. There is great love and wisdom on this board and together with God we will continue his kingdom building. Again to all the new family members, God bless you, keep posting, and know you have family around the world. Joy in Christ!!!!

Bill I have only been posting a little over a year and a half. I am giving my first anual report to Bishop Bryant! Wow!! And I have included my A.M.E Today family in my report. For all of you have supported and prayed for the ministry in Bozeman, and in the fall we will be planting another church in a town 4 hours away 400 miles round trip. We will tell them about A.M.E Today and I pray that all new churches will use this discussion board as an inspiration. Now baby brother Bill "you are ALL that!"

Brenda I am just a country preacher who loves the lord with all of my heart. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement, I pray you will come and visit me in Montana. It is a gorgeous state. Next summer we are planning some revivals on the Indian reservations, so I am hoping some of my A.M.E family members can join us next year. Our Presiding Elder Donna Roberson said she would come and I am excited for God has put this on my heart. Brenda God is REAL!! And your love for him is so apparent and contagious. It is obvious he has you on his mission field doing a different type of ministry. One of the great things I love about our denomination is that there is a place for someone like me, that feels called to rural ministry and church planting. There are very few people that get to live out their dreams, I am living mine out by serving God. My Bishop and Presiding Elder listen to me, when I say in a few years I want to get our A.M.E church back in Idaho. The property was sold but the people are still in need. This is the reason I answered the call the ministry to be a missionary! Yahoo!! It is a joy to be a foot soldier in the army of the lord. Brenda please stay in touch with us!

Greetings to all my brother and sisters in African Methodism. It's good to be able to check in to let all know that all is well. May God continue to bless the efforts of all of you who love the Lord, our Zion and your brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. Best wishes to you Rev. Denise that upbeat voice from Great Sky country.

Bro. Harold it is good to hear from you what district do you belong and what church are you a member. I am glad that you can tell I am happy! God is so good to me, and doing ministry is exciting. I am so humbled by the work of our forefathers and mothers who planted AME churches across this country and in Mexico and Canada. This is a powerful denomination.

Beautiful sister Loretta, of course you are on the AME-TODAY roll call. There is nothing official or a list of names somewhere. For AME-TODAY is for everyone! I just used the term roll call so that we could hear from those who read and or post on the board. Even if someone only reads the discussion board, we want everyone to know that they are loved and that there is always someone who cares about them. Rev. Fisher has been so generous and gracious in providing a forum that is inclusive and spirit filled. Sister Loretta you now have a huge family around the world, because you do read the discussion board. Sorry I did not make it clear what I meant when I said "Roll Call" It is great to hear from you my sister. And to everyone else just say hi, so we know that you are o.k. God loves each and everyone of you so much!!!!
