I recently found two ivory handled tools by each marked M. PRICE S.F. (San Francisco 1859-1889) Both handles are engraved E.W. TEACKLE

I would like to find out information on E.W. Teackle. All I could find out about E.W. Teackle was on Events of 1864 San Francisco History http://www.zpub.com/sf50/sf/he864.htm

1864 April 24. An attempt was made to burn the Golden Era office. . . .E.W. Teackle attempted to kill J. Walter Walsh in front of the Bank Exchange.
