I did see the "HaHa" but I wanted to make my position clear since I am a minister in the A.M.E church. I love my denomination and I love this denominational discussion board. God called me to be A.M.E and am honored he has entrusted me with planting a church for him. My church is a multi-cultural church and the majority of the people who come are extremely poor. No one else has welcomed them but our church. So I just want to make it clear that I do not participate in polls regarding speaking in tongues. And for me doing A.M.E ministry is HAVING FUN!!

What did I miss?   Tongues are considered a secondary doctrinal issue and there's bound to be differing views. Historically, we as a body has over emphasized its importance on both sides in my opinion. Denise, would you mind sharing your reasons for not posting concerning this topic (privately by email if you wish)
