Anyone have any idea?? I "found" a couple of 1lb. bags of yeast in one of my freezers dated 1999. What do you think....any good?

Well, dang it all! Why didn't I think of that, Jay!!?? I was just thinking of the waste if I went to the trouble of mixing up a batch of bread and nothin' happened with the yeast. So here I am at 2 a.m. waiting to see if this yeast will rise!! Maybe I'll be making bread tomorrow...I mean today :-)!!

Kirk...we've only been out on the "pond" a couple of times, 'cause the weather here has been yucky! Lots of rain and drizzle. Going out tomorrow ( I mean today!!) to set out a couple of new lobster traps. We'll probably catch nothing but crabs :-)!!

Oh Kirk...if you only knew!!! My life is most definitely NOT interesting. Sometimes I'd really like to "get a life" :-)!!! I'm not sure why, but somehow we thought things would be simpler once we reached the half century mark, but...no way! Maybe the next life...?? At least now I know how to test my yeast!!!
