Are you in favor of D.C. statehood? Yes/No and why?

Yes. I support DC Statehood."No taxation without representation!" and "Taxation without representation is tyranny!" Thomas Jefferson and John Hancock said these words. When the Founding Fathers fashioned our Declaration of Independence, chief among their complaints was the fact that the King was taxing them "without our consent."
