Truely this is a time for prayer

On April 7th I posted this as a request. Since January we have experienced many of our flock being called home to Glory. It has affected every level of the Church. Pastors, Presiding Elders,a Bishop, our relatives and Friends. We must continue to hold up each other and our leadership through this continuum of change. To all of the families of our AME Flock we should concentrate our prayers. Death has a way of gripping our attention right at that moment. Please remember our leaders who need our prayers right now.

Thank you Rev. John for allowing us the opportunity to keep up with the news around the Church when you have the time (especially with all of the events of your life right now). May God Bless You all on this day he has made.

Brother Nalton thank you so much for reminding us to pray for our leaders and their families. I ask that in the upcoming weeks we pray individually but also at prayer meetings, and in our churches. The pain of losing a loved one is indeed a great one. Do not hestitate to tell the person who lost a loved one, that you care about them. It is also helpful to allow them to tell rememberances of their loved one. This is all part of the healing process. Let us continue to lift Rev. Fisher also up in prayer for his father was also called home. Rev. Fisher you are so dear to us.
