The first-filed Y2K coverage action and related product cases brought in the Northern District of Iowa have settled recently on undisclosed terms. In the insurance case, Cincinnati Insurance, Keane Inc. and various hospitals suing Keane filed a stipulation of dismissal on April 11. Cincinnati filed the declaratory judgment action in 1998 over its duty to defend Source Data Systems, a Keane acquisition, in Y2K-related product cases. In the product cases, a settlement agreement between Mineral Area Osteopathic and other plaintiffs against Keane was ordered sealed on March 28, but the court said on May 30 that the settlement would be unsealed if no objections are filed by June 20.
