Anybody else gonna buy the "Harry Potter" video tomorrow?greenspun.com : LUSENET : A Country Singletree : One Thread |
Saw where the video goes on sale tomorrow. I have been wanting to add it to my collection ever since seeing it in the theater. Anyone else thinking about getting it?

I never really understood the idea of BUYING videos. IF you buy it,, you watch it a few times,, then usually end up giving it away or selling it a yard sale for 5 bucks or so. Where could rent it for less than 3 bucks. Yes I do own some videos,, bought at yard sales and such,,even still,,I think I may watch them once a year. (If that, after the first year)

Hi Stan! We haven't heard from you in awhile on this forum! I suppose you are busy with your bees and your forum. Can you give us a report on your chicks. Last I heard you had eggs peeping and a few hatched.Jay, I don't think I'll rush to buy it! I liked the movie but wasn't so impressed that I have a burning urge to get this one.

I gave an update on the other forum,, but I have 2 hatched, 1 KIA , and the rest didnt mkae it, either unfertile of was squished early on. I didnt have any chick starter for them,, was kinda worried about that,, but they are over a week old,, so must be doing ok. The 2 are getting bigger, and alittle more adventurous.

Stan Congratulations! If the chicks are being raised by their mom or a seragate they don't need chick starter. Especially if they are free range.Hey Stan why don't you post the link for your forum over here? There are new people who may be interested in visiting.

Yes, bought the Harry Potter movie this morning and we have already watched it! I love it! I've read all of the books. And I will for sure get my money out of it. We will probably watch it atleast 2-3 more times this week alone!

Yes, we'll definitely buy it - probably in a week or so - but we'll get the DVD so we'll get to see all the extras! :-)

Harry Potter fans unite! LOL Yes, I got the CD while in town today, haven't watched it yet. I rarely buy a film unless I have seen it first but made an exception for this one. We'll see. I do love movies and have a bit of a library. Nothing more fun that having guests come to stay for a while and introducing them to a fun(or scary) movie! Watched "The Gazebo" last week with Glenn Ford and Debbie Reynolds, what fun. And then introduced the guests(both in their 80's!) to Aliens. Oh Boy! LOL This is one movie they didn't fall asleep during! LOL LQ

LQ,I know the feeling. I have accumulated over 1500 movies in my library over the last 20 years. Now that dvd is out , I am trying to build up a collection of those also.
