I admire the way Sister Denise describes the beauty of Montana! It almost moves me to visit. She describes how she is inspired by the beauty of the mountains and national parks. I admire that! As for Ray, I am inspired by the greenery of my beloved new place! Where I am located, there are numerous lakes and waterfalls! I am also blessed to reside along the banks of one of the Great lakes (Michigan). Whenever I am needing a boost, I drive along its shore and admire its beauty. I am blessed with such beauty and scenery. What about you my friends? What,in nature,inspires you?

Ray thank you for your kind comments. I was born in Cleveland and spent my adult life in New York city. I thought I was a city girl. I came to Montana to take a position as a united methodist campus minister. I did not even know where Montana was! I came because God said he needed me. When I first got here I HATED IT! The only place to shop at that time was k-mart!!! (Now we have other stores)I stayed because God told me too. (I admit I whined in my prayers to him;-) the longer I stayed the more he revealed his plan to me!! When I look at the rocky mountains, and the rivers, I see the hand of God. When I walk in the forest. Or see an eagle, buffalo or waterfalls, it reminds me of the love that God has for his children. When we read the book of genesis, it reveals how God prepared a beautiful earth for us his children. I LOVE LIVING IN MONTANa NOW!!!! I look out my apartment window and I see the rocky mountains, I walk six blocks and sit in front of a creek. God did all of this for us, as you go to the park or forest praise God for his gift of nature.

Mount Ranier National Park in southern Washington State and Crater Lake in Oregon. Basically anything in the Rockies, Sierra Nevadas, and Cascades. I like mountains for sure, but I also learned to love a wide open sky at night and a lightning storm. For that, go to west Texas.
