switchmaster buying and installationgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Wiring for DCC : One Thread |
Hi everybodyI have read in details lots of the message in the FAQ. I am decided to use switchmaster stall motor for turnouts I have then 2 questions
1. When can i purchase such motors. I see on the FAQ that it was possible at walthers, but don't find them (contrary to Tortoise). It was also mentioned to go directly to hankscraft, but nowhere in their website i can find the switchmaster mentioned. So i am a little lost on how to purchase the switchmaster
2. I have also no idea on how to install it on the benchwork. You mention everywhere the Rix product, but it is for HO scale and I am using N scale, with Peco code 55 turnouts. I try to find products on walther site but again fail to find any information / product.
If anyone can help me on these 2 subjects, i will appreciate a lot !

All:I have posted ordering information for the Hankscraft motors on my website. Also, is a little bit about the Digitrax DS-44 and similar stationary decoders.
See my section on Getting Electronic Parts for ordering information and the section on Turnout Control for a discussion about your options plus the link to RailServe that Dale had previously provided.
